Semillon
Chardonnay 1998 This
wine shows the characteristics of the two varieties very well, with
fresh lemon and peach aromas. This is followed by a full palate and
green melon flavours finishing off. This wine is a good accompaniment to
salads, seafood and other light dishes.
Cabernet
Shiraz 1998 This
medium bodied dry red has light cassis and plum aromas with a slight
herbaceousness. The wine has a balanced tannin structure with raspberry
aromas lingering on the palate. Good to drink with pasta and red meat
dishes.
Shiraz
1998 Medium bodied
dry red has distinct shiraz aromas of ripe berry fruit and slight
cassis. A firm tannin finish makes for a good red meat wine
Cabernet
Merlot 1999 Rich full
bodied Merlot is blended with fruity Cabernet sauvignon and aged in oak
barrels to make a full bodied easy drinking wine with complexity and
character. Lifted Blueberry and raspberry fruit with a backing of
leather and leafy characteristics. A rounded palate and a warm fruity
oak finish. Ready to drink now and up to 2005, excellent drinking with
pasta or red meat dishes.
Soft
Shiraz 1998
Originally made as an export only wine, this wine has gained a great
following and is now available in Australia. A smooth easy drinking
shiraz which low astringency and plenty of flavour
Traminer
2001 A delicately
fruity white wine of medium sweetness with aromatic floral aromas. Serve
chilled and will drink excellently with spicy food, especially dishes
with aromatic herbs. A floral, slightly sweet wine with a crisp finish.
An excellent wine for spicy foods. This wine is ready to drink now.
