The Family Winery
Two brothers, Frank Bruno Jr and Vince Bruno, started the winery in 1965. Their father, Frank Bruno Sr, worked the 50 acre farm growing stone fruit up until the first grapes were planted in 1962.

 


The winery started out as a small production facility processing approximately 30 Tonnes of grapes, and is today processing 4000 tonnes of grapes annually, supplying Australian and International Markets.

With the new generation recently taking over the winemaking responsibilities, Franks son, Robert Bruno continues to produce quality wines using the latest technology and know-how combined with the experience of 35 years winemaking from the older generation. Robert makes a range of varietal wines, each maintaining the individual characteristics of the grape variety..

Medal winning wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Semillon and Traminer as well as a range of fortified wines such as Tawny Port, Vintage Port, Liqueur Muscat and Sherry.

The sweet wines are renowned for their first class quality. Willandra Estate Botrytis Semillon is a trophy winner and multiple Gold Medal wine, while the late picked Muscat Alexandria has won various medals at Australian wine shows.
